We have been restoring Mustangs and in the auto body business for 36 years. It only took building one Eleanor type Mustang for us to realize that if we were going to continue with this type of resto-mod, that we had to put together a body kit that fits. During the first transformation from regular fastback Mustang to one with a body kit, we had to buy part after part from 3 different manufacturers and the fit still left much to be desired. We then set out to make a body kit that would take a week instead of a month or more to put on. The result is a great Mustang body kit, with a lot of extra details included and extra billet aluminum accessories available to dress it up.
Extra webbing adds strength and rigidity
The complete body kit includes the front bumper/nose with head light buckets and trim rings, hood, front and rear fender flares, rockers, upper and lower scoops, rear bumper, quarter extensions, tail light panel and new rear spoiler for your existing deck lid. All with professionally made fiberglass parts that are uniform and consistent. No humps or bumps here! We also use extra webbing on most all of our parts for added strength and rigidity.
The front nose is one piece and easy to bolt on. There is no wasting of time and money trying to get the upper and lower pieces to fit together. We did all the work for you. It comes with the headlight buckets and stainless steel trim rings to give it a complete look. By making it this way you can change the headlamps and adjust them without having to take the entire nose off. There is also a grill available that fits great with no unsightly gaps. The whole thing easily bolts onto the front fenders like the 05-07 Mustang kits. All the light openings are trimmed out for you. We also furnish the metal you need for your fenders when you cut them off.
Our hoods are completely finished underside
Our hood is made with 1 1/2" extra rise to accommodate big blocks and superchargers. We made the rise aesthetically appealing and not boxy looking. We like our hoods to look just as awesome underneath as the top, so it's completely finished on the underside. When your showing off that muscle under the hood who wants to look at rough, ugly fiberglass? Lastly, the hood pins are placed in front of the bump stop, where it's supposed to be and there is a notch out for a monte carlo bar.
The upper scoops are designed to go over the existing vents to make the installation a lot faster. You would normally have to take old vents off and try to line them up right. These are much easier to line up and they are bonded on with structural adhesive. We leave the carriage bolt off, so you can get it lined right up where you need it.
The lower scoops have been shaved, so you don't have to add 1/2" of body filler to your doors in order to make them fit right. Ours are also flexible, so they fit the contour of the body as opposed to being over rigid.
Lastly, the rear bumper, taillight panel (with or without gas opening), quarter extensions and rear spoiler all line up to work together beautifully. Plus, you won't have to cut out your existing taillight panel with ours. This weakens the rear end of the car and there is no need to cut it out. It will please even the pickiest Mustang lover!
All of our products were tested on numerous Mustangs, both factory original and aftermarket parts, and fit fine. As is with any body work there will always be some tweaking to do in order to fit your particular Mustang, but no fiberglass work!
